RESEARCH CAPABILITIES
We operate a joint research
team, with FSDH. Our research capability has been developed with a
view to providing investors, researchers, and the financial press with
useful information and analysis on the Nigerian financial market.
Over the last few years, we have
invested considerable resources in gathering historical information on
activities in the Nigerian capital market such as daily closing share
prices, stock market turnover and company interim and full-year
results. Furthermore, we also have historical information on money
market data such as interest rates, treasury bill rates, and NIBOR
rates.
At the moment, our research team
provides daily updates on the Nigerian stock market as well as weekly
activity reports on the Nigerian money and capital markets. We also
provide individual company profiles as well as specific research
reports on trends in the Nigerian stock market. Our reports are sent
electronically to users within and outside Nigeria
Our research activity is reflected in the
quality of investment advice that we provide to our clients. We are
able to clearly distinguish ourselves in a market that some people
believe is “crowded” with too many people doing the same thing.
